Have you ever tried to clean your teddy bear and end up frustrated with the 'new look' of it? Well, I had. And what worse was that it was the first gift from a name very special. Yes, I do like teddy bears a lot, but I just wished that I had cultured the proper way to clean them before I really attempted to do it myself. And that is why I want to share with you these simple tips on teddy bear care so yours won't end up with a 'whole new look' like mine:

o Wipe your bear with a damp cloth (preferably white and no soap please). This sound pretty simple but it is the safest and most effective way to clean go up dirt on teddy bears. Wipe down just like you are wiping the delicate skin of a child - gently and carefully. On the other hand, if you do not want your teddy bear to get wet, you can also use a hand held vacuum cleaner to remove the go up dirt on it.

o If you reckon you need to wash your bear in a washing apparatus, please read its cleaning instructions first (a lot of people do not recommend this though). Some teddy bears are apparatus washable, but it is better to take extra precaution when you are using the washing apparatus. Place your teddy in a mesh bag (on the other hand, you can use a pillowcase and tie the end of it) and choose the gentle most cycle your apparatus can offer. Air dry your teddy bear afterward. Your bear does not need to be dried under the sun since that can cause the color to wear off.

o Lastly, don't forget to give your her a excellent brush

PS: You can also send your teddies to a center which specializes in restoring teddy bears if you are worried of spoiling your them. Whatever option you choose, your bear deserves the best care from a person like you.
